Real conversations beat sales pitches.
It was Koi Pond's rule and it's ours.
Rexburg Venture Studio started as Koi Pond — networking events built on a simple observation: traditional networking felt transactional, and Rexburg's business community deserved better. So we put people at small tables, gave the conversation structure, and banned the sales pitch. It worked. Relationships formed, ideas rippled, businesses grew.
The community kept asking for more — deeper training, ongoing groups, real support for the founders among us. So Koi Pond grew into Rexburg Venture Studio: an incubator that backs local companies, workshops that teach practical skills, and the same roundtables that started it all.
It was Koi Pond's rule and it's ours.
Every connection made at a table makes the next founder's path shorter.
Rexburg can grow its own companies. We're betting on it — literally.
We run free community events, teach workshops, and selectively invest time and resources in local companies through our incubator. Our studio space hosts portfolio companies and scheduled meetings.
